Suda Electronics' solid state relay has three parts: input circuit, isolation (coupling) and output circuit. The input circuit can be divided into three types: DC input circuit, AC input circuit and AC/DC input circuit. Some input control circuits also have TTL/CMOS compatibility, positive and negative logic control, and inverse equation functions.
There are two ways of isolation and coupling between the input and output circuits of Suda Electronics' solid state relays: photoelectric coupling and transformer coupling. The output circuit of solid state relay can also be divided into DC output circuit, AC output circuit and AC/DC output circuit. Two thyristors or one bidirectional thyristor are usually used for AC output, and bipolar devices or power field effect transistors can be used for DC output.
Advantages of Suda Electronics' solid state relay
(1) Long life and high reliability: SSR has no mechanical parts and has a solid device to complete the contact function. As there are no moving parts, it can work under high shock and vibration environments. Due to the inherent characteristics of the components constituting the solid state relay, the solid state relay has a long life and high reliability.
(2) High sensitivity, low control power and good electromagnetic compatibility: solid state relays have a wide input voltage range and low drive power, and can be compatible with most logic integrated circuits without adding buffers or drivers.
(3) Fast switching: The solid-state relay uses solid-state devices, so it forms a solid-state relay, and the switching speed can range from a few milliseconds to a few microseconds.
(4) Small electromagnetic interference: The solid state relay has no input "coil", no ignition arc and rebound, thereby reducing electromagnetic interference. Most AC output solid state relays are zero-voltage switching, which is turned on at zero voltage and turned off at zero current, thereby reducing the sudden interruption of the current waveform and switching transient effects.
